Dear Y.E.S! Members,

As we move into 2009, I want to thank our former president, Leslie Kobrin, for her hard work, dedication and leadership over the past two years. Her passion for Dress for Success and its mission is contagious and I look forward to building off of the strong foundation that she has helped to build for Y.E.S!

We are off to a great start in 2009! Thank you to those of you who attended the General Member Assembly meeting. We had a strong turn out of forty-five attendees, many of whom were new faces!

Approximately fifty members have renewed their membership or joined Y.E.S! in 2009 and this number is quickly growing.  We have an exciting year ahead and I would strongly encourage each of you to take the time to renew your membership or consider joining Y.E.S! if you haven't already done so.  We have logged over twenty volunteer hours during the first two months of 2009 and have a variety of volunteer opportunities planned for March so let's keep the momentum going!  read more>>

In 2008, Dress for Success partnered with Diageo to create the Something To Share™ campaign. The scarf, designed by Sean Combs, serves as the campaign icon; a symbol of unity that can empower a community of people to share their knowledge, experience and passion to advance the mission of Dress for Success.

We are asking you to consider purchasing a Something To Share™ scarf for a deserving Dress for Success client.  This special accessory will serve as the finishing touch to the new wardrobe a client receives in preparation for her employment interview.  Purchase a scarf and provide a woman with the confidence that she needs to land a job by reminding her that you believe she has the power to succeed. The scarf can be purchased for $20, with 100% of net proceeds benefiting Dress for Success Worldwide.
